Two summers ago, the family and I traveled to the great island of Turks & Caicos. This quickly became my favorite of all of the Caribbean destinations. Upon ariving at the smallest airport that I have seen that can handle jets, you find out immediatly just how friendly and kind the native people are. The beaches were truly like baby powder soft, the water temp was always above 80 degrees, the diving was incredibly (for you snorkelers the visibility was nearly 100 feet) and they have Iguana Island for you reptile enthusiasts. My daughters loved the beaches and there was plenty of activity for your teens. I dove every day and conditions were perfect. If I didn't love new adventures so much, this is the island that I would have a second home. A near perfect vacation.

Aruba
Every time I think about the Caribbean I get excited. This is truly the place to travel for beach lovers. The latest place that we have stayed is in Aruba at the Marriott Surf Club. You can get great deals on these units (which are brand new) because most are timeshares that people rent out. Look on Ebay and other sites that rent timeshares. We stayed in a beautiful ocean view large 2 bedroom 2 bath with full kitchen and living room and washer/dryer for 7 days at a rate of $1200.00. The facility has great pools, restaurants, a casino, and the beach is great. Please let me know if you have any questions about this resort. We loved it so much that we went twice. My next post will talk about some of the most incredible restaurants that I have ever eaten in (and I am a food snob) on this small island of Aruba. Chow for now.
